Connected TV and streaming
Prime Video now carries commercials for most Prime members in the U.S., and Amazon’s ad platform reaches Fire TV, Roku, Hulu and other major apps as well. Berk Marketing buys streaming TV through Amazon Ads and plans it beside cable and radio.

Short answer. Amazon sells streaming television advertising on Prime Video, Fire TV and Twitch, and through its ad platform on many other apps, including Roku and Disney’s Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN since 2025. What sets it apart is the targeting: logged-in Amazon shoppers matched on what they actually buy and watch, not a guess made from an IP address. We buy through Amazon Ads, with a non-skippable :30, targeting by zip code and audience, one frequency cap across every app, a weekly reporting dashboard and billing only for completed views.
Why Amazon
Most streaming platforms target a household by inferring it from an internet address or a cookie. Amazon knows who is signed in. Its targeting is built on the purchases, searches and viewing of real Amazon customers, so a commercial meant for homeowners in three zip codes who have been shopping for home improvement lands in those homes, and the household counts in the report are verified, not modeled.
The second difference is reach. When Prime Video switched on ads for members who do not pay for the ad-free option, it became one of the largest ad-supported services in the country overnight. Then in 2025 Amazon opened its platform to Roku households and to Disney’s streaming inventory. One buy now covers Prime Video, Fire TV, Roku, Hulu, ESPN and the other major apps, which is why it is the platform we use.
Where it runs
| Outlet | What it reaches | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Prime Video | Shows, movies and live sports on Prime Video for members on the standard, ad-supported plan. | A very large, signed-in audience, and the programming people pay for. |
| Fire TV | Ad-supported apps on Fire TV devices and Fire TV-powered televisions. | Household reach across many apps, matched to Amazon’s customer data. |
| Twitch | Amazon’s live streaming service. | A younger audience, worth including only when that is your customer. |
| Roku | The Roku Channel and the apps on Roku devices and Roku-powered TVs. | See Roku advertising. |
| Disney | Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN. | See Hulu advertising. |
| Other premium and free apps | Paramount+, FOX, discovery+, Samsung TV and others. | More reach under the same frequency cap and the same report. |
Targeting
You do not need to sell on Amazon to use any of this. The data shapes who sees the commercial; your business can be a law firm, a roofer or a car dealer.
How our Amazon buy works
Amazon also sells directly, through its own self-serve tools and its managed service. Those are built mainly for large brands and for companies that sell on Amazon. Through us, a local or mid-sized advertiser gets the same inventory and targeting, a person who answers the phone, and a plan priced against cable and radio for the same customer.
Fit
Worth knowing first
We work with advertisers who have not already been quoted directly by a station, network or platform. We are not in the business of taking clients away from sellers, and once an advertiser has been quoted directly, our ability to negotiate that inventory on your behalf is limited.
The consequence lands on you rather than on us. If connected TV is on your list and you have not spoken to anyone yet, that is exactly when this is worth a call.
We will run a competitive monitoring report at no charge and with no obligation. It shows which stations, networks and channels your competitors are on, at what times of day, how many spots, and it includes the actual audio or video of their commercials.
In many cases nothing shows up at all, and that is worth knowing too.

Yes. Since early 2024, Prime Video in the U.S. has shown commercials to Prime members who do not pay extra for the ad-free option, which is most of them. That made it one of the largest ad-supported streaming services in the country.
Yes. A campaign can be limited to one metro or a set of zip codes, and you pay only for completed views, so television is workable at a local scale. The commercial is usually the harder part, not the budget.
No. Our streaming buys use Amazon’s shopping and viewing data for targeting, but your business does not need to sell anything on Amazon. Plumbers, law firms, clinics and car dealers all qualify.
Our Amazon buys are priced per thousand completed views on a non-skippable :30, so you pay only when the whole commercial plays. The price moves with how narrow the targeting is and the time of year. We do not publish rates. A written plan prices the streaming line beside cable and radio for the same audience.
Yes. The buy can be limited to a metro or a list of zip codes, and narrowed further to households Amazon’s data shows are in the market for what you sell.
A high definition :30 that meets Amazon’s technical specifications and advertising policies. Every spot is reviewed before it runs. If you do not have one, we can arrange production.
No. We represent advertisers, not Amazon or any other seller, and we hold no inventory.
