Las Vegas

Radio Advertising in Las Vegas

A 24 hour town where shift work spreads listening across the clock, a dial that changed more in the fall of 2026 than in years, and the Golden Knights on a new station. Berk Marketing buys Las Vegas for advertisers and represents no station in it.

Short answer. Las Vegas is moving fast. In September 2026 840 KXNT went dark, Audacy’s talk moved to 101.5 K-Dawn, and Kemp Broadcasting flipped 106.9 to talk alongside its 670 AM. The Raiders are on Raider Nation Radio 920 and Comp 92.3, and the Golden Knights moved to X107.9 for the 2026 to 2027 season. There is no all-news station. On the music side Sunny 106.5, 96.3 KKLZ, 95.5 The Bull, Mix 94.1 and Q100.5 are the big signals, and La Tremenda 103.5, La Tricolor 105.1 and La Buena 101.9 lead the Spanish side. The practical entry point is about five thousand dollars a week.

Stations change formats and owners often, so we confirm every station against the current Nielsen book before a proposal goes out. A plan built for you shows the current audience for each station on it. Our top 100 markets page lists every market we buy.

How Las Vegas listens

Three things about Las Vegas that change a buy

The fall of 2026 rearranged the dial. 840 KXNT went dark on September 1 2026, and Audacy moved its talk to 101.5 K-Dawn. The same day Kemp Broadcasting flipped 106.9 to talk. Beasley sold 107.5 to K-LOVE and moved its X alternative format to 107.9, and the Golden Knights followed it there for the 2026 to 2027 season. Any rate sheet from earlier in the year is out of date.

Shift work spreads listening across the clock. Casinos, hotels and hospitality run around the clock, so a large part of the workforce commutes at hours other markets ignore. Overnights and weekends carry real audience here, and a schedule built only for weekday drive time can miss it.

Spanish radio is part of the general market. A large Hispanic population makes stations like La Tremenda 103.5 and La Tricolor 105.1 a real part of most buys. Several signals are also licensed to distant towns, so we check coverage of the valley before recommending a station.

News, talk and sports

The listener is following a story or a game, so fewer commercials a day do the job. In Las Vegas that means K-Dawn or 106.9 The Right Talk for talk, and Raider Nation Radio for the Raiders.

Music formats

The listener is half attending, so the message needs repeating, which means weight on one station rather than money spread across four. Sunny 106.5, KKLZ, The Bull and Mix 94.1 each reach a large habitual audience bought for frequency.

Why format decides frequency, in full, is on the local radio advertising page.

Money

Buying Las Vegas: scale, and who does the negotiating

iHeartMedia owns Sunny 106.5 and The Bull, Audacy has K-Dawn and Mix 94.1, Beasley holds KKLZ and X107.9, Lotus has Raider Nation Radio and Comp 92.3, Kemp Broadcasting owns the two newest talk stations, and Latino Media Network and Entravision lead the Spanish side. Each group prices its stations as a package built for its own inventory. We buy the station, negotiate each group against the others, and take remnant inventory where it exists.

The practical entry point for a terrestrial campaign here is about five thousand dollars a week, the same floor as every market we buy, and it needs to run long enough to build frequency rather than a week or two to see what happens. What sets the rate, what moves it and how remnant inventory changes the arithmetic is covered on the radio advertising costs page.

Berk Marketing represents advertisers and holds no Las Vegas inventory. We go to the stations and the groups for availability and price, negotiate each against the others, write and produce the commercial in house, place the schedule and track what it returns by station. Where a station has unsold airtime, we buy it as remnant, typically 40 to 60% below the published rate card, and you are refunded or credited for any spot that does not run.

Fit

When Las Vegas is the right buy, and when it is not

Worth a conversation

  • You can serve the Las Vegas valley, or you are buying Las Vegas as one market among several
  • You can fund roughly five thousand dollars a week for long enough to build frequency
  • Your customers include shift workers, or you can use overnight and weekend airtime
  • You have an offer that is genuinely worth responding to
  • You are prepared to test more than one script

Probably not yet

  • You want a week or two to see whether radio works
  • Your service area is one town, where the market is far wider than your customer
  • You need a guaranteed cost per lead before committing
  • There is no tracking in place and no plan to put any in
  • You have already been quoted directly by a Las Vegas station, which limits what we can do on that signal

Worth knowing first

Call before you call a station, not after

We work with advertisers who have not already been in contact with a radio station’s sales rep. We are not in the business of taking clients away from stations, and once an advertiser has been quoted directly, our ability to bring remnant pricing on that station is compromised.

The consequence lands on you rather than on us. If Las Vegas is on your list and you have not spoken to anyone yet, that is exactly when this is worth a call.

Find out who is already advertising against you in Las Vegas

We will run a competitive monitoring report at no charge and with no obligation. It shows which Las Vegas stations your competitors are on, at what times of day, how many spots, and it includes the actual audio of their commercials.

In many cases nothing shows up at all, and that is worth knowing too.

Questions

Las Vegas radio advertising questions

Which Las Vegas radio station is best for advertising?

For a considered purchase, a talk or sports station bought properly usually does more than a music station. For a broad consumer offer, one music station with enough weight beats several bought lightly.

Which stations carry the Raiders and the Golden Knights?

The Raiders are on Raider Nation Radio 920 and Comp 92.3. The Golden Knights moved to X107.9 for the 2026 to 2027 season.

What happened to 840 KXNT?

KXNT went dark on September 1 2026. Audacy’s talk programming moved to 101.5 K-Dawn.

How much does radio advertising cost in Las Vegas?

Plan on about five thousand dollars a week as the practical entry point for a terrestrial schedule, run long enough to build frequency. The rate on any one Las Vegas station depends on daypart, season and how much inventory is unsold, and remnant airtime can bring it down considerably. What sets a rate is covered on our radio advertising costs page.

Do you represent any Las Vegas station?

No. Berk Marketing represents advertisers and holds no inventory on any Las Vegas station. We negotiate with every group on your behalf and are paid to get the schedule right for you, not to fill a station’s airtime.
